KORASIS began with a simple question: why should the objects we carry every day be disposable expressions of a season? We believe a leather piece can be something more — an object shaped by design, craftsmanship and time, made to accompany its owner and acquire character through use. KORASIS is our pursuit of that idea.
KORASIS did not begin as a fashion house. It began with curiosity — with leather, tools, machines and the desire to understand how a beautiful object is actually made.
For founder and craftsman Panagiotis Ktenas, that curiosity gradually became an obsession with construction: the behaviour of leather, the strength of a seam, the balance of a handle, the precision of an edge and the countless small decisions that separate an object that merely looks beautiful from one that is beautifully made.
His background in engineering brought a particular discipline to that process: understand how something works, make it, test it, identify what can be improved — and make it again.
KORASIS grew from that workbench. Not from inherited tradition, but from the determination to build one.
We believe luxury and longevity should belong together. Leather is a remarkable material precisely because it does not have to remain unchanged. It softens. It develops a patina. It records use.
Our aim is therefore not to create objects that survive only until the next collection, but pieces worthy of being used, maintained and kept. That philosophy influences every decision we make — from material selection and construction to finishing and repairability.

We believe craftsmanship begins with attention. From cutting and skiving to stitching and edge finishing, each stage contributes to the way a piece looks, feels and ultimately ages. We work deliberately, because details that take minutes to overlook can take years to appreciate.
Nothing should exist simply because it can. A proportion, pocket, closure, handle or piece of hardware must earn its place. Our approach brings design and construction together so that beauty never becomes disconnected from function.
KORASIS is a Greek brand with a contemporary outlook. Athens gives us a visual language of contrasts: marble and concrete, antiquity and modernity, Mediterranean light and deep shadow, discipline and disorder. We do not reproduce the past — we allow it to inform what comes next.

The Idea
KORASIS begins as an idea: to bring design, engineering discipline and leather craftsmanship together in objects made with purpose.
The Workbench
The first pieces are developed at the workbench. Materials are tested, patterns changed, seams reconsidered and construction methods refined. Every prototype teaches us something.
The Identity
A visual language begins to emerge — the KORASIS symbol, materials, proportions and a design philosophy built around restraint, individuality and function. Creative direction and craftsmanship become two sides of the same process.
