Korasís is a distinguishable brand of unique handbags and more. Our philosophy has been built upon the principles of art, endless creativity, age-old tradition and uniqueness. The beauty of long-standing craftsmanship is reborn with the natural materials and handmade techniques we adopt to create unique goods. Colourful pieces of textiles are woven together to reinvent tradition in a contemporary and fashionably elegant way!

Korasís was born out of artist Elena Katsaros's realization that the European chic style and the Mediterranean culture invited for an unforced, if not natural, fusion. Each creation blends together the idiosyncratic modern personality of the artist with locally-sourced materials, traditional weave and luxurious, one-of-a-kind fabrics. Handcrafted with exceptional care, they are best described as art objects.

We believe that every bag should be more than a functional object — it should be a piece of wearable art that evolves with the woman who carries it. From the moment leather is selected to the moment the bag is wrapped in tissue and dispatched, every decision is made with intention.

Our Athens atelier sits in the Psyrri neighbourhood — a labyrinth of craftspeople who have worked with leather, metal and fabric for generations. We draw from this tradition and bring it forward for the modern woman.

We never compromise the quality of a design to reduce its price. We produce fewer pieces and make them better — each one is a limited expression of seasonal creativity.

Craft above speed

Our artisans complete 6–8 bags per day at most. There is no production line. Each bag is assembled by the same pair of hands from start to finish, beginning to end.

We design for the woman who moves with instinct — not the runway. Our bespoke service exists because we believe no two women should carry exactly the same bag.
