KORASIS was born in Athens from a simple belief: that the things we choose to carry every day should be made with intention.
We create leather goods that bring together contemporary design, enduring materials and careful craftsmanship. Not objects made to follow a season, but pieces designed to acquire character through use and become distinctly their owner's.
Our approach
Each KORASIS piece begins with an idea, develops through proportion and material, and ultimately passes through the hands that make it. Leather is selected individually. Edges are prepared and finished by hand. Components are assembled, examined and refined with attention to details that may never be noticed at first glance — but can be felt over years of use.
We believe this is where luxury begins. Not with a label. With care.
Our team
KORASIS brings together two complementary disciplines.
Nicola defines the visual language of KORASIS: proportion, form, colour and the relationship between an object and the person who carries it.
His direction is grounded in restraint. Every line must have a reason to exist; every detail must contribute to the whole.
The objective is not to design for a passing season, but to create objects with presence — recognisable without needing to announce themselves.
Panagiotis approaches leathercraft from an unusual direction. Before KORASIS, his professional life was shaped by engineering, the sea and environments where reliability, precision and responsibility were not aesthetic ideals, but necessities. That mentality followed him to the workbench.
He began working with leather not simply to reproduce established methods, but to understand them: how a seam carries load, how leather behaves around a curve, how an edge should be prepared, how hardware interacts with the structure, and why some objects survive decades while others merely look beautiful when new.
KORASIS grew from that process of learning, making, testing, failing, correcting and making again. Today, every piece still carries something of that philosophy: understand it, make it properly, improve it.

A city where ancient proportion and modern disorder coexist; where marble, concrete, sea, heat and shadow form an unmistakable visual language. Our work is influenced by that contrast.

We work in small quantities because craftsmanship needs time. The natural variations of leather are not defects to be erased — they are part of the material. With use, the surface changes, softens and develops a patina unique to its owner.
No two pieces will age in exactly the same way. We consider that part of their beauty.
Built to be used
We do not believe luxury should mean fragility. A KORASIS piece is meant to be carried — to travel, to sit beside you at work, to be placed on a café chair in Athens, an airport floor in Paris or the passenger seat of a car.
To collect small marks and memories. And eventually to look better because it has lived.
That philosophy also shapes the way we design and construct our products. Whenever possible, components are selected and assembled with longevity, maintenance and repair in mind — because an object worth making should also be worth keeping.
We prefer to say that openly. There is no invented century-old atelier behind KORASIS. No manufactured heritage. There is an idea, a workbench, two different perspectives and an uncompromising desire to create something worthy of carrying our name. Piece by piece.
